The Digital Age
The Digital Age is a term that defines the time period of when digital technology became ubiquitous and common use globally. We can see the transition to the digital age from the rise of computers, smart phones and digital cameras. As photographers, celluloid film was the thing to shoot on for many decades with 35mm cameras being popular amongst the masses. Analog photography survived and bloomed since the birth of photography, however since the 1980's, the rise of digital photography creates the question; is film dead? The Digital Age has been a topic approached by many photographers over the past couple of decades. My photos are too hyperbolise the effects digital technology has on society today, covering: the evolution of technology, the excessiveness and exorbitance of owning technology and how people present themselves online and people being sequacious and compliant to technology.
